History
Karissa Sweger was born to be a merchant’s daughter forever. Her father and mother had arranged her marriage to another merchant family at her 10th birthday. Karissa wasn’t very happy with that fact; she would do anything to get away from that pre-arranged marriage.
Nothing significant ever happened to Karissa she had such a boring life. The most eventful thing other than her pre-arranged marriage was her viewing of an Aes Sedai and her Warder. The Aes Sedai was perfect in every way. She got to get out to see the world, people feared her, she had a man that she choose and she was free of her parents. Karissa wanted that.
At the age of 16 Karissa left her betrothed at the altar. She packed her belongings and headed to Tar Valon. Karissa took what money should had saved and worked her way to the Shinning Walls. There she requested to become an Aes Sedai. The woman held out a crystal and Karissa concentrated on the crystal, not knowing what to expect. But after painful minutes of waiting she was taken to the Mistress of Novices where she would begin her training.
